It's been busy around here. Crawling baby, crazy busy work, weekend plans, baby showers, babies, driving to Canada...my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped. :-)
So I have got to post about Glenn and all the new things he's been saying and doing...because this is really intended to showcase his milestones in lieu of a baby book, which I am just not able to do. I'll do that next post. But this one is focused on little Audrey Ella, our new niece, daughter of mein brother in-law, a proud new papa - Doug and his wife Lynda. We've been waiting for another girl in this family. The other one is going to be sixteen soon. So...welcome, little girl. We've been waiting for you. Can't wait to watch you grow and make your dad into the puddle he swore he wouldn't be. Wrap him around your little finger and twist hard. He's a sucker for you. You can already see it.
On Saturday, the boys and I (all three boys) drove the nearly five hours to Canada to visit Audrey and her parents. Glenn was impressive, tolerating that drive when he just learned to crawl. We found Lynda healthy and happy and Doug...just beaming with pride. Audrey weighed six pounds at birth, but at three days old she was surely in the five pound range. Light as a feather.
I am sharing a photo and a link to the rest.
