I've been MIA on this blog, but mostly just sparing little time for anything like catching up. I've been preferring Facebook and Twitter to the blog, as it allows for short, quick updates without going into the details. Of course, I forgot the purpose of this blog was to document some milestones as they happen for Glenn in his first year and the rest of us in this second year in Olympia. Well, fast forward from Christmas to now and I can report that Glenn is walking and super busy. He finally has one tooth on the bottom and his two fang teeth coming in up top...looks like a vampire when he smiles big. Glenn is a wondrous and bright spot in our lives as he provides the levity that we all need...with the boys maturing from 6th graders and soon to be 7th graders and all the learning that comes from that transition...and with us raising these older dudes to be self-reliant, kind and thoughtful human beings. It can be tough around here sometimes. Glenn is developing into a busy boy and demonstrates a laid back quality and sense of humor that amazes me. I can hardly describe what that means...you have to see it in action. He's tough and he's comedic...he's sly and he's sweet. He won't nap for me on the weekends. It drives me crazy, but I just plan around it and let it be. At daycare he gets two good naps a day and since he was 12 weeks old, he sleeps through the night from 7pm to 7am. I can't complain. These are the most recent photos of him enjoying some sun outside.
