Well, I'm joining the blogging bandwagon. It makes sense really. I've just been in the business of sending cards for Christmas that say "happy holidays" (to escape the need for the card to arrive before Christmas). I found it to be such a pain to have to write such a short note to connect with people that I know and love. Or worse, that I have known and loved, but have been out of touch for so long. It is a ridiculous way to connect. I am not a fan of writing the form letter, mostly because I just don't make the time to capture the events of the year. But I have to say, I have received personally hand written letters that describe the goings-on of a family and two "form" letters that do the same...and it really is so nice that people take the time to connect this way. The only thing that I don't like about it is that you get that kind of correspondence only once a year. So, if blogging is the new way to connect or have regular correspondence...let's see how this goes for six months. If I fail at regularly updating this blog, then it goes away. But I am going to give it a shot. After New Year's, I'll post holiday pictures if any, resolutions if any, and any other current events and photos.
